Fixed fee
A close look at your current electricity and gas contracts: how the price is built, which costs are passed through, what risk sits with you and whether invoices match the terms. You receive a written report and a call to go through it.
Supplier Tenders
Project fee
We prepare your consumption data and specification, invite suitable suppliers, put every offer on the same basis and support you through negotiation to signature.
Purchasing and Risk Management
Monthly fee
For flexible, indexed and tranche contracts. We agree a purchasing policy with you, follow the market against it, recommend when to fix volumes and report your position every month.
Advisory Projects
Scoped individually
Focused pieces of work such as budget price forecasts, PPA screening, flexibility and on site generation assessments, and training for finance and procurement teams.

How we advise
Paid by you, not by suppliers
Our fees come from our clients. We take no commission from energy suppliers, so our recommendation does not depend on which contract you sign.
Rules before timing
We agree with you how much to fix, by when and within which price limits before the market moves. Decisions then follow the plan, and the plan is written down.
Senior people on your account
Buda Energy is a small practice by design. The person who scopes your work is the person who does it and who answers when you call.
Our own market data
We maintain a database of European power and gas fundamentals, built from grid operator transparency platforms and exchange data. Part of it is open to everyone on this site.

How an engagement starts

Half an hour to understand what you buy, where, and when your contracts end. There is no charge.

You send contracts, recent invoices and consumption data. We tell you exactly what we need and keep it confidential.

Scope, deliverables, timing and a fixed or monthly fee. Nothing starts until you have agreed it.

XX is an energy risk and procurement specialist based in Budapest. He works on electricity and gas hedging programmes and supplier tenders for corporate buyers across Europe, and holds a PhD in Earth Sciences.
